Bhang Tac Wok is a conlang I created in March 2020. I originally planned on actually learning it, and I even used flashcards and Anki to try and become somewhat fluent. Alas, I didn't meet that goal, but I still had a nice language with a distinct aesthetic I could play around with.
The language's aesthetics are mostly inspired by South-East Asian natlangs; thus Bhang Tac Wok is quite analytic, but contrary to its natlang correspondents, it lacks tone and exhibits derivational morphology to varying degree, esp. on verbs. Its phonemic inventory is relatively large, consisting of 25 consonant phonemes, as well as 8 vowels, each of which possessing a lengthened counterpart; there are also 13 diphthongs. As mentioned above, the language is quite analytic, with a low morpheme-to-word ratio. It employs a morphosyntactic alignment similar to the Philippine-type voice system that can be found in many Austronesian languages.
I haven't worked on Bhang Tac Wok in a long time, and its documentation is more than lacking — a problem I haven't got anymore in newer languages. Nevertheless I'm trying to brush up my understanding of this conlang of mine. I hope you enjoyed reading this short introduction to the world of Tac; I'm planning on eventually expanding on the languages showcased on this website, with pages dedicated to phonology, nominal and verbal morphosyntax etc. Until then, if you have any questions or want to learn more about the way Bhang Tac Wok works, send me an e-mail and I'll try to respond!
